Jack Bodenhamer was born in Dallas, and was raised in a small central Texas town. Jack received his BA in Christian Studies from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas in 2005, and his Masters of Divinity degree from Logsdon Seminary in Abilene, Texas in 2008. He answered the call into ministry when he was 19 and has been serving in congregations since that time. He was licensed to ministry at First Baptist Church Comanche in 2004, and ordained in the ministry in 2006 by Trinity Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Texas. He married Kim in August of 2009 and they had their first child James in December of 2015. They have two dogs, Bella and Max. He loves music, sports, and time around a fire with good friends. He has been serving in Elm Mott since 2010, and is passionate for the work of the Kingdom in and around his community.
Meagan Cooper is from Beaumont, Texas and moved to Waco to attend school at Baylor University. She is completing biochemistry pre-med and is 20 years old. Meagan answered her call to the music ministry at age 16 and works to utilize her and other's gifts to serve the Lord. She enjoys music, theatre, spending time with children, and talking to people. Meagan believes that everyone has a special gift from God that should be shared with the world- not wasted!
Sue Oliver was born in Waco and she has lived here all her life. She has been married to Kenneth Oliver since 1984 and has 7 grown children, one teenager, and 20 grandchildren. In 1987 she accepted Christ as her Savior, and has been on a wonderful journey since that time. She attended McLennan Community College and has worked in Early Childhood and Elementary Education for many years. She enjoys reading, outdoor activities, crafting and family time. Her great passion is the Children’s Ministry. Over four years ago, while praying “where can God use me?” the answer became clear. This ministry is where God led her. She loves to see the changes in the lives of the children and the children’s families through the work of God’s word, music, and other activities. She firmly believes you are never “too old” to serve God.
Victoria Garza was raised in a small town in west Texas and moved to Waco to attend Baylor University. She received a BA in Sociology with a minor in Religion in May of 2016. She is currently working on her Master of Divinity degree at George W. Truett Theological Seminary. She answered the call to ministry when she was 18 years old. Her favorite pastimes are listening to music, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Victoria loves working with youth and watching students further develop their relationship with Christ.
Angela Rubio was born in Waco, Texas. She has lived here the majority of her life except for some time in California. She is married to Rene Rubio and they have seven children ranging across 2 decades as well as two grandchildren. They have dogs, cats and 1 bearded dragon. She has been a member at FBC Elm Mott since 2010 where she also serves in the Youth Ministry and as a Sunday School teacher.
