Volunteers Opportunities

Our greatest needs right now are

Help by reading with kids and helping with their homework. Volunteers  MUST  have a background check with the church within the last two years. If you do not, please fill out the  Permission to Obtain a Background Check  form and return it to the church.

Hosting Community Group in your home on Monday evenings

Hosting Community Group in your home on Monday evenings

Volunteer in nursery, children, and youth areas on Sundays or Wednesdays.

Also, consider any one of the following

  • Volunteer at one of our community events like Fall Festival, National Night Out, the Elm Mott Community Clean-Up Day, or the Community Thanksgiving Meal.

  • Church landscaping, maintenance, and repair

  • Technology - run the soundboard or the worship slides on the laptop

  • Tri-Cities Ministries - a partnership of local churches with the goal of ministering to our communities to alleviate poverty

  • Shepherd's Heart Food Pantry - 3rd Monday of the month from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.

  • Meals on Wheels - Deliver hot meals to those in need Thursdays at 10:30 am. We're looking for people who could do this once a month. See Pastor Jeb for details on how to get started.

  • Van driver - pick-up kids for the meal and church activities on Wednesday evenings.

  • World Hunger Offering

Have a skill that is not listed and/or like to put your time to work for others? We can always use a helping hand with something! Fill out the volunteer form and return it to Pastor Jeb.

 
 

Mission Trips

We are returning to Piedras Negras, Mexico. We will be helping with Backyard Bible Clubs and work projects along with visiting a women’s prison and a special needs orphanage. Open to all ages, but children must be able and willing to follow adults’ instructions. The cost is

  • $30 per person + $5 per person for water OR

  • $60 per family + $5 per person for water

  • You'll also need money for gas and a meal on the road there and back.

Please note that ALL participants MUST complete a Full and Complete Liability Release Form. The release form can be found here.
